HOW FIREARMS SAVED LIVES AT THE NATIONAL HOLOCAUST MUSEUM

EVERYONE IS DOUBTLESS AWARE of the attack on the National Holocaust Museum on 14th Street NW in Washington D.C.; in which a Museum security officer was shot dead by a "white supremacist" nutbar wielding what we are given to understand was a .22 rimfire rifle. The atttacker was immediately shot and rendered unthreatening by two other security men.

WE AT THE ALEXANDRIA DAILY POOP were aware the second we learned of this that the anti-gun movement would jump right on this, dipping their lace hankies in the dead officer's blood and waving it to advance their fraudulent and corrupt agenda. But we were surprised at the reaction of the Washington Post, who have not said anything about "gun control" in their reporting or editorializing, perhaps to avoid being seen as vultures (Although cartoonist Tom Toles did do a cartoon depicting a Rush Limbaugh looking character as a "cooking show" host offering a recipe for murder that only needed two ingredients: "hate" and a firearm, both of which were available to the bigot depicted as watching the show). Rather, the Post has adopted the tactic of publishing letters to the Editor and "comments", all of which strangely (or not) have the same theme: "We will never be rid of bigots but we can get rid of guns".

BALDERDASH.

This was an attack by a suicidal nutbar. And it is fortunate that he used a rifle. None have considered that a very effective bomb can be constructed of explosives that can be made out of maaterials that are very commonly available and utterly impossible to control. The formula for black powder for instance is very well known. Also well known is that the ingredients for black powder are found in nature. They are saltpeter, charcoal and sulfur. And black powder can make a nasty bomb indeed; and the killer needen't detonate himself, improvised 3-second fuses activated by friction aare also easily made. Imagine if the killer VonBrunn had gotten into the lobby and instead of a rifle pulled out an armed bomb and tossed it over the metal detectors into the crowd? The dead and injured would have been in the dozens. Several strapped to his person would have made him a walking Claymore mine. So it is fortunate he had only a rifle.

It is equally fortunate that there was an armed citizen - a "trained security officer" yes but a citizen nonetheless - to stop VonBrunn before he could shoot another person.

It is doubtful that VonBrunn knew that the Holocaust Museum security people were armed. Killers who use firearms rely on "sensible gun control" to ensure a soft target full of unarmed victims and plenty of time to kill away until the police arrive. They are fully aware of the maxim "when seconds count, the police are only minutes away". And they continue to kill until somebody shows up with a firearm to put an end to the killing. And eliminating firearms will not slow down the killing, in fact it may well speed the killing up. The ingredients for ten pounds of black powder are probalbly within a two-block radius of where you are reading this right now. Oh yes, and Black Powder's other name is....GUNPOWDER!

THIS PRESIDENT IS A DISASTER

     WHEN HE RAN FOR PRESIDENT Barack Hussein Obama got the votes from the workers in the industrial sections of the Midwest by telling them their straits were all the fault of George Bush and the Republicans, and that electing them would have them back farting through silk.   We found it hard to believe that the people of Indiana and Ohio, where we were raised, would fall for it.  We were wrong, as a drowning man will grasp at straws.  

     NOW these poor saps are finding out who and what they voted for, and it isn't what they thought.   No, far from everybody getting back to work, Obama's bungling of the GM/Chrysler bailout scheme had him telling them over the weekend that things were as a result going to be worse, that factories and dealerships were going to be closing and that suppliers would shutter their shops.  But the good news was that they had been called upon to make a noble sacrifice for their country and children by going jobless.   We know the people from which we sprang, and we know for a certainty that these folks are now aware that they are being - we try to avoid obscenity here but only one thing fits - they are being screwed in the ass by Obama.

     WE have heard and read the words pf parvenue Obama apologists who say Obama's actions were necessary to avoid even more people being thrown out of work.   That statement if made in an Ohio cornfield would fertilize it for the next thousand years.  The fact is that if NOTHING had been done by the Federal Government,  these two companies would have gone into Chapter 11 ANYWAY,  and most likely with less pain than now.   Obama's motive was to keep the Union bosses - NOT the workers but the leadership of the IAW - eating regular meals.    To pretend he is helping the workers by hanging them out to dry is disingenuous to say the least.  This takes an horrific amount of chutzpaugh.  It is also illegal.

     NOTHING IN THE CONSTITUTION AUTHORIZES ANY OF THIS.  President Obama is violating the very law he swore to uphold.  He should be impeached, tried, convicted and removed from office forthwith.

     THIS President is a danger to our Nation not only on an economic venue (remember those kids he said the workers were sacrificing for?  Well; ONE, how are they going to get fed if Dad is jobless? and TWO,  HE HAS ALREADY PUT THEM HOPLESSLY IN DEBT FOR THE REST OF THEIR ADULT LIVES. )  Obama is also a threat to our very existence.  He has this day stated that the United States should UNILATERALLY DISARM to "set the example" after which the rest of the world will follow.  In the same speech he said that Iran had A RIGHT TO NUCLEAR WEAPONS!!!   At a minimum he is all but offering to serve up Israel on a platter to her enemies,  if not also this very Nation to ours.

     WE ARE OBLIGED to extend our sympathies to the good people from which we at the Alexandria Daily Poop were raised.  We do mot blame them for being fooled by this wolf in sheep's clothing.  But we urge them to get angry, very angry indeed; at a so-called President who dines on $100-per-pound imported Kobe beef (when he is not going on a visit to a burger joint which involoves spending $75 grand on a motorcade) , having a special chef flown in from Chicago to make him a pizza, and taking the Missus on a trip that cost well over a quarter BILLION dollars for a dinner and theater date; while they scrounge barren food banks and scramble to keep the very roof over their heads; and then tells THEM  to 'sacrifice" while he leads the high old life.  Even Jimmy Carter had the decency to at least put on a show of shaaring in our privations.   Obama is beginning to act as though he thinks himself our King.  He would do well to remember what we did with the last one we had.

     IMPEACH OBAMA NOW.

FASCISM, ANYONE?

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS EFFECTIVELY TAKEN OVER GENERAL MOTORS AND CHRYSLER. This is a large part of the textbook definition of fascism. And certain aspects of this takeover amount to an outright putsch aagainst the rule of law, which is all that separates us from tyranny.
By law in bankruptcy senior creditors are paid off first. Obama wants to put them last in line, and wants to force them to accept 30 cents on the dollar, to boot; which would likely make them insolvent and in need of a bailout, which would enable Obama to get his hooks into them, also.
All that is missing from this Administration to define it as fascist is rabid nationalism, which so far is noticeably lacking, what with "president" Obama going all over the world apologizing to dictators for our efforts to oppose their tyranny whilst insulting every leader of a free people he meets if in fact he does not snub them outright. But once this Republic is firmly under the thrall of the Left, the nationalism will come, and it will be enforced by government fiat. Then will come the day when the meaning of the Second Amendment will be made horrifically clear. We are hoping for a result in the 2010 mid-term elections that will throw a check on these sinister designs, but more and more it appears that 2010 may be too late.

WHATEVER IT IS NOW BEING OFFICIALLY CALLED we at The Alexandria Daily Poop will call this "new pandemic" what it is: swine flu. It is influenza, and the flu can be dangerous to be sure; but so far maybe 500 cases worldwide and "the authorities" keep ramping up the "emergency" to at present one level below "pandemic". Today the City of Rockville Maryland closed all of its public schools because of two sneezy students. What nonsense.
AND the idiot who is our Vice President said the other day that he would not and would not allow his family to travel on enclosed public transportation for fear of breathing flu-infected air. This caused an outcry from Amtrak and the airlines (among others) and was folowed up by a statement that Biden did not say what he meant, but we are still supposed to take him seriously. As for our Fearless Hoper President, he assured us the other night that he would hold the torch and guide us through this grave threat, and in His Infinite Wisdom counselled us to wash our hands and cover up coughs and sneezes. We are very grateful for this, as there may e one or two people in this nation of 350 million who did not already know this; and thanks to "President" Obama now they do.

COME ON! There is no vaccine available and this thing wil run its course as every round of flu does. Our government is activating "pandemic contingency systems" to see how fast the mass of sheeple can be corralled and subjugated in the name of "public health". Most folks around here just go about their day-to-day business, but in the local governments public officials are running around, mad as hatters, and closing schools and making announcements that everone should stay home.

TEA, ANYONE?

"TEA PARTY' PROTESTS HAVE BECOME COMMONPLACE here in America and April 15th (tax deadline day) was a day of much activity. Hundreds of these protests were held nation wide.
The liberal drive-by media tried at first to ignore them. But the movement is so large that these slugs have taken to attacking and belittling them. They have stooped to Junior High School locker-room insults about "teabagging" and the like, these "journalists" who want to be taken so seriously.

BUT IF YOU LISTEN TO THE REPORTING you will notice a note of fear in their voices. The pressure cooker is rattling ever more loudly. The common American Citizen is beginning to realize that he or she has been bamboozled by these types and the politicians whose synchophants they are. In the rattling of the pressure cooker they hear echoes of the rattle of the rattlesnake: DON'T TREAD ON ME!
And they are not wrong in this regard, and they know it, and they tremble.

THE CASE FOR CHRISTIANITY

THIS BEING EASTER I THINK IT BOTH FITTING AND PROPER TO STATE WHAT I BELIEVE AND WHY. Throughoout the history of mankind there have been many attempts to explain the relationship between human mortals and the supernatural. Of all of these, the only one that makes complete sense is Christianity.



The Justice of God is Perfect Justice, God being perfect. So many today claim to be for "justice". But how can someone who is guilty of multiple offenses single out another for a single offense and demand "justice" on that individual without bringing the justice for his own offenses upon his own head??

Fruit A man kills five people. He is sentenced to death and executed. But his blood can only pay for one murder. Wherewith can he pay for the rest??



How many minor (or major) offenses are any of us guilty of?? How many of us can say we are otherwise perfect, and do penence for just that one thing? And even were it so, how can we call back our wrong and the pain it has caused?



Lots of people think that Adam and Eve's sin was in eating a forbidden "apple". In fact, they were forbidden only to eat of "the fruit of the tree of the kowledge of good and evil". The fruit of the tree of Eternal Life was hanging there waiting for them to discover. BUT. Before they did, a rebellious angel known now as Satan decided to screw things up. Satan was jealous of the new humans. He had wanted to kick God out and take over, and now here were two new creations "made in His image". He had to o something QUICK before we ate the tree of Eternal Life and took over.

So Satan decieved them into doing what God told them NOT to do, BEFORE they found the Tree of eternal Life.



As a rebel in the Kingdom of heaven, Satan was and is under a sentence of Eternal Damnation. And from the Garden unto today he accuses every single human being on Earth of the same rebellion he is guilty of, and demands (according to God's Perfect Justice) that we suffer the same fate he is doomed to.



But there is a loophole. If a guilty man can only atone for his own guilt for one offense with one death, he cannot therefore atone for the many other offenses he has committed with that death. But if a TOTALLY INNOCENT AND PERFECT MAN sheds his blood in the name of all other men, THAT is a perfect atonement.



And so God became one of us, born of a virgin, and lived a perfect life. And in the end, we killed him. And He went willingly to His torture and death. He always said he was there to save first the Jews, and when they cried to Pontius Pilate : "LET HIS BLOOD BE UPON US AND OUR CHILDREN!!" they (although they did not know it) were staking first claim upon the most precious gift God haad ever offered, or ever will.



And so on this Easter, Anno Domini 2009, please allow me, an abject and totally unworthy sinner, to say "Thank you, God, for providing so great a Salvation.

Many non-Christians quote what they say are the "central tenets" of Christianity" in response to spiritual debate. The "Central tenets" are these:

(1) I believe that Jesus of Nazreth is God, the Son of God.
(2)I believe He was born of the Virgin Mary and lived a sinless life
(3)I believe he was tried and executed on the Cross by Pontius Pilate
(4)I believe he died, was buried, and on the third day after arose.
(4)I believe that He will soon return to establish His Kingdom on the Earth.
