THE 28TH AMENDMENT: A MODEST PROPOSITION

How to handle the disaster that is "President" Joseph Robinette Biden? A simple removal from office in an impeachment or a 25th Amendment action would leave us with President Kamala Harris, an even more dangerous nincompoop. And if we got rid of HER, we would have the spectre of Nancy Pelosi in the Oval Office.  Fortunately the Founders of our blessed Republic  provided a solution to just such an emergency.  Article V of the Constitution provides that the legislatures of 3/4ths of the Several States may call a convention to propose Amendments without so much as a by your leave to the increasingly corrupt Congress.  

With that in mind, we at the Alexandria Daily Poop endorse such a convention and offer the following Amendment for the consideration of the Convention: 

IN COLUMBUS, OHIO

THE LEGSILATURES OF THE SEVERAL STATES  ASSEMBLED PROPOSE FOR RATIFICATION THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:

WHEREAS; in the National Elections of 2020 Joseph Robinette Biden was elected President of the United States and

WHEREAS; Said Joseph Robinette Biden has shown himself to be completely unsuited to hold said office and

WHEREAS; should said Joseph Robinette Biden be removed, the persons in the line of succession to the Office of the Presidency are likely to be similarly incompetent if not worse and

WHEREAS; The electoral process in the 2020 elections was rife with opportunities for election fraud in the name of stopping a pandemic disease, which opportunities have cast a shadow on the legitimacy of the voting process  and

WHEREAS; the occupancy of the Office of the Presidency by Joseph Robinette Biden presents an historic, unprecedented and clear existential threat to the Republic and

WHEREAS; the elevation of the next three persons in the line of succession to said office in the case of removal of Joseph Robinette Biden would only maintain or worsen such threat;

NOW THEREFORE WE THE DELEGATES REPRESENTING THE LEGISLATURES OF THE SEVERAL STATES, SITTING IN COVENTION TO PROPOSE AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION FOR THE UNITED STATES AS AUTHORIZED BY ARTICLE FIVE OF SAID CONSTITUTION DO PUT FORTH FOR RATIFICATION BY THE SEVERAL STATES THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT, TITLED:

THE 2020 ELECTION RECALL AND REFORM AMENDMENT

I

THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IS HEREBY OVERTURNED AND THE RESULT DECLARED NULL AND VOID

The Presidency and Vice Presidency shall be immediately returned to Donald John Trump and Michael Richard Pence; and they shall each be entitled to seek re-election to a full term after serving the remainder of the present term, any provision in this Constitution to the contrary notwithstanding. President Trump and Vice President Pence shall be sworn in and assume office within 24 hours of the ratification of this Amendment. 

All other 2020 election results shall not be affected by this provision.

II

All elections for Federal office shall be held on a date certain, and so-called "Early voting" shall be expressly prohibited; and NO "absentee ballots" shall be issued but for certified good and proper evidence that the voter cannot be present to vote in person, supported by oath or affirmation; and seeking an absentee ballot for any other purpose shall be deemed attempted election fraud and be punishable by imprisonment for two to ten years and a fine of not less than one hundred thousand dollars. And all persons upon appearing to vote in person or requesting an absentee ballot shall be required to present an identification document having a photograph of the holder issued by the State, or the Federal or District or Territorial government having authority in the jurisdiction wherein said voter resides. 

III

The provisions of this Amendment shall take effect IMMEDIATELY after its Ratification by this Convention.

Just a modest proposition.

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE PANDEMIC

"President"  Biden knows how badly he screwed the pooch in Afghanistan. He had such visions of him giving a "I won the war" speech to an adoring public; but now everyone thinks of him as - as one wag put it - an old bag of rotten oatmeal.  

So now he's gonna show US who needs a scolding! He has in the past couple days unleashed a dictator-like program designed to force everybody to get a vaccine for Covid-19 whether they need one or not and whether they can take it without worse-than-the-disease complications. Either that or in some cases he's willing to "allow" people to be exempt IF they take once-weekly nose swabs for testing.  

He claims the vaccine is safe and effective against even the "new variant" but that 25% of the population is unvaccinated and they are the festering open sore of the pandemic.  But he doesn't mention the people who have had Covid and possess a more robust and longer lasting "natural immunity".

And of course - in the name of "protecting the (what else?) children we still need to fuck with the goddam masks.  

Now, if Biden is so damned concerned with "Keeping us safe", THEN WHY THE FUCKING FUCK IS HE LETTING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF UNVACCINATED UNTESTED AND UNVETTED FORIEGNERS INTO OUR SOUTHERN BORDERS?      Not to mention the refugees from Afghanistan whose numbers have included at least four cases of measles and Gawd knows what else.  Plus, these are unvetted also.  Are we importing agents of what serves the Taliban as secret police? Is Biden allowing terrorists into our nation? We don't know.

And neither does Biden.  Nor does he care.  He only cares about his own power and his own hide.  We are leery of waiting for the 2022 elections to throw a check on him and even if he is impeached or unseated using the 25th Amendment each person in the line of succession is worst than the previous one.  

Biden has done so much damage that we here at the Alexandria Daily Poop think an Article V Convention should  be called specifically to draft and ratify an amendment overturning the 2020 elections and returning the Presidency to Trump and Pence.

What a huge stinking mess from this old bag of rotten oatmeal.  

ON THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE 9-11 TERROR ATTACKS

 We remember those desperate days on and following September 11 2001, much as our parents remember(ed) the last time something even remotely like this happened on December 7 1941. And it is just and fitting that we remember both.  

But 20 years after Pearl Harbor I was 8 years old.  And there were remembrances held, but nothing like this.  Because by that time we had vanquished the Germans and the Japanese and were occupying to make sure they behaved.  For us it started in winter 1941 and less than 4 years later we had finished it.  We went in mad as hell and killed and killed and destroyed until we had taken the starch out of the enemy. The effort cost us nearly half a million dead and nearly twice that wounded.  And we dropped nuclear weapons not once but twice on Japan to get the suicidal fanatics to give up.

But in the Second World War, we didn't have to much contend with the International Left; who were pretty much okay with the likes of Hitler until he attacked the Soviet Union after which time he became a no-good son of a bitch to them. (We did have one congressperson, Jeanette Rankin; who voted "nay" on declaring war on Japan and had to hide in a phone booth until she was rescued by Capitol Police)  

But other than Rankin, we had very little trouble out of the "Peacnik" crowd.  Defeatist talk was frowned upon to say the least, and if ANYONE had started mewling about how we needed to understand why the Japanese didn't like us, he or she would have been lucky to only receive a good tarring and feathering.  We did the job at hand and Japan surrendered.  

The Taliban, on the other hand, never surrendered.  And we had a plan to withdraw in an orderly fashion and let the Afghan Defense Forces complete the pacification of these savages.  But Biden managed to turn it into a rout ending with a Taliban victory.  And sooner or later we are going to have to go back and do the job right.  And with this weaker-than-water "President", it'll probably be sooner.  

And when the time comes, let us hope that the "WE need to understand them" crowd is told to shaddap.  We need the next engagement to be one which will make Operation Barbarossa look like a toddler's birthday party.  And fight it so that less than 4 years after it begins we can have a memorial celebration and not a funeral remembrance of a defeat. 

A RAY OF HOPE

 Well, gentle readers we have not posted in many months.  The recent elections and the Kung Flu plague and its consequences  have greatly disheartened us.  But looking at things as they now stand, even with the weakest "President" in history at the National helm, as a staggering reeling nation slowly crawls out from under the "emergency mandates" and masks imposed on everyone by Government officers drunk on the power that they supposed this "pandemic" conferred on them;

Even as the Democrat Party obsesses over a minor riot in the Capitol Building even as they continue to gloss over the riots around the country wherein the mob attempted to burn Federal and local government buildings, using lasers to blind the cops and in one instance came so close to breaching the White House security barrier that the Secret Service had to evacuate President Trump and his family to the bunker;

Even as the Left through its academic arm tries to convince children that they can be whatever sex they feel like; and that America is an evil country founded on the enslavement of black people to farm land stolen from the aboriginal peoples; all of it, all of it;

Still we are convinced that we are seeing the fury of an ideology scorned.  The Founders designed our political system to make these radicals do exactly what they are doing now: they know that after they had captured the White House, the House and the Senate by using every dirty trick and sneaky maneuver they could think of, that they would have a very short period of time to cement their cause; seeing that every seat in the House is up for grabs every two years but only one third of the Senate; and  the Presidency lasts for four years.  

This is a quandry the Left has been stymied by time and again.  And so they have attempted to ram through bills that would have enabled the packing of the Supreme Court, eliminated the "filibuster", and eviscerated ballot security in elections to enable cheating.  

Still there remained this tiny two year window to accomplish all this mischief; and as usual the radicals moved far too fast and exposed who they were and are to the American people.  And unfortunately for them their plans alarmed not a few of their own party.  Now the line must be held  for just more than a year.  Except in the Commonwealth of Virginia, where the abominable Terry McAuliffe is trying for a second non consecutive term. The Governorship is being hotly contested by a man named Youngkin who as of today is gathering wide support from parents who are worried about the things the Left wants to put their kids through.  Our election will be held in November, so watch what Virginia does.  

The months leading up to November 2022 are going to be painful, no doubt about it.  but the Left is foundering, trying to claim that they were never against voter ID and that is was the REPUBLICANS who started the "defund the police" movement.  It's their classic ploy of "when something goes wrong blame the Republicans" and never in our lifetime has this strategy been so clumsily and vainly executed.  Keep the faith. We are.

THE PROBLEM: MOB RULE

 Yes, Gentle Readers, we have hesitated to post lo these many days because of the relentless shower of - words fail us - shit that has been happening in these United States.  We have thought long and hard about what is the common thread that runs through this national horror in which we find ourselves in the midst of.  

We have a weak as water "President" who has undertaken to invite anyone who wants to enter via our Southern border to just come in; and when this became an obvious catastrophe tried to back off and say he didn't really mean it - except that he did - and tried to fob the whole unsightly dangerous mess on President Trump. 

"President" Joe Biden has nominated and pushed through woefully inadequate and cartoonish sexual perverts to key Cabinet positions; such as homosexual Pete Buttigeg, former Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana as Secretary of Transportation (though he couldn't even fill potholes adequately); and one "Dr," Rachel Levine who was born male but who insists everyone call him a female as Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services. 

When the police find it needful to use firearms or force to keep the peace, woe betide them if the person they find it needful to forcibly pacify is black.  That person automatically becomes a saint.  One Michael Brown tried to take a police officer's firearm and was justifiably shot to death, and winds up being described as a "gentle giant" even though minutes before he had executed a force and violence robbery of an Asian shopkeeper to obtain cigar leaves in which to roll "blunt" marijuana cigarettes.  In response a mob burned Ferguson, Missouri to the  ground.

Memorably, in Minneapolis, Minnesota t two-bit fentanyl soaked hoodlum named George Floyd tried to pass a fake bill at a convenience store.  It fell to a white Minneapolis cop named Chauvin to apprehend him.  Floyd was EXTREMELY uncooperative during the entire encounter, which ended with Officer Chauvin kneeling on his neck to control him (Which by the way may very well have been Hoyle with MPD regulations). 

Minneapolis exploded with mob rioting. And there is serious doubt as to whether he can get a fair trial just based on the nationwide passions which have been stirred by this incident. 

Somewhere in the middle of this a coronavirus set off a worldwide pandemic.  Businesses were closed, restaurants went out if business and everyone was ordered to wear face masks to "Stop the spread".  The narrative was passed around that mask wearers were protecting others from their ability to spread the virus, thus setting off a situation where mask-wearers were enabled to self-righteously denigrate those who did not wear a mask.  In multiple incidents, punches were thrown. 

Then in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon mobs rioted and were allowed   to raise hell for months on end. They shot explosive fireworks at the Federal Courthouse in Portland and tried to lock police officers in a precinct house in Seattle and BURN IT DOWN WITH THE OFFICERS TRAPPED INSIDE!  How did the media describe these hoodlums?   AS "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS".  In a pig's eye, they were.  

Then came the riots - ditto described as "mostly peaceful protests" - RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE WHITE HOUSE ON PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE NORTHWEST.  At one point the "peaceful protestors" undertook to ASSAULT THE WHITE HOUSE prompting the Secret Service to usher the First Family into a bunker designed to withstand a nuclear attack.  

Now, Supreme Court justices must take into account that the mob will pay them and their families an unwelcome and possibly deadly visit should they rule "the wrong way".  Ditto individual Congressmen and Senators.  And the violent mob has so far almost killed Republican representative Steve Scalise and Dr. Rand Paul just for their views.  

How long are we going to put up with this nonsense?

 REDUCTIO AD ABSURDUM 

Yes, gentle readers; we haven't written here for a while because sheer idiocy on an unprecedented scale seems to have been taking place in our government and our society.  And not all the nuttiness is coming from the Left, either. There exists a bunch of nuts who STILL think former President Trump can manage to upend the 2020 election and take over on the former Inauguration Day of March 5th.  From what we can make out, a combination of these nuts and a sprinkling of racist groups were corralled and led by agents provocatures  from the ANTIFA group and whipped into a mob which stormed the United States Capitol building and wrought havoc before being brought under control.  Little good did it do them or anyone else; the election of Joe Biden to the White House was duly certified on schedule. 

Then and only then was the National Guard called in and fences topped with razor wire erected surrounding the Capitol. That was a month and change ago and today the fences stand and the District of Columbia is still chock-a-block with armed Guardsmen.  

The fences have managed to keep out and confuse members of the D.C. City Council; who claim that what with the fences they cannot access the Capitol to present the Congress with legislation that must be reviewed by the Congress before it is enacted.  And somehow the honorable members of the Council have referenced their inability to make a simple telephone call to arrange access as a reason they must be granted Statehood.  

And since he was inaugurated, Biden has busied himself with issuing executive orders the way the Treasury prints money when he is not engaged in stuffing his administration with the biggest collection of nincompoops and freaks in the history of this country.  Chief among these is the Secretary of Health and Human Services, a "trans" woman who is about as convincing a woman as Milton Berle in drag only not funny at all.  

We fear that the warning given by former White House resident Barack Hussein Obama is about to be borne out.  Just before Joe Biden threw his hat in the ring last year, Obama warned that we should "Never underestimate (Biden's) ability to fuck things up". 

Indeed.

So now, gentle readers, we have established that we haven't been just sitting by playing solitaire while the Government burns.  It's just been happening too fast to get a handle on it; but now we believe we can start writing on it again.  This is the base of the mess we will be dealing with.  See you soon.

CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF FREEDOM RUSH LIMBAUGH DEAD OF CANCER AT AGE 70

Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio host who founded talk radio out of the ruins of the "Fairness Doctrine" and taught two generations of up and coming conservatives about our values and the tactics of the Left (anong many other things) passed away esrly this morning.

His death was announced by his widow at the opening of his show. It came as a shock to all concerned.  We all knew Rush had cancer and we all knew it was terminal, but we all hoped for just one more day, one more week, one more month.  Sadly there are no more. 

We first heard of Rush Limbaugh courtesy of a leftist alternate newspaper which called his show "Right wing brain vomit".   The next day we were scanning through the AM radio channels and came upon a satirical presentation asking why it was needful to teach kiddies about condoms by teaching them using one and a banana as a prop.   

Naturally he was called among other things the Left's favorite epithet "racist"; but after one listen to his show it was evident to any but the blindest that he was anything but.  

It is incumbent on we who live on to put his precepts into practice; to spread the philosophy and reasoning of conservatism and to defend the Constitution from the pack who are no doubt even now salivating as they think their old enemy is dead.  He is not.  He lives on having taught 30 years worth of listeners how to deal with the threats to freedom we face today.  The time for weeping is over.  It's time to get busy.

Not a whole lot of people under the age of 50 will "get" the cultural reference contained herein, so we shall explain briefly: 

Back when we were a kid and cartoons were not reviewed by a board of headshrinkers and  political correctness commissars, there was a theme of say, a smartass jug eared mouse being chased by a stupid pussycat. The cat chased the mouse into a hollow log that exited beyond the lip of a cliff.  

The mouse emerged and pushed the hollow log around 180 degrees so that the pussycat would emerge into empty space with a long fall beneath him.  The mouse then re-entered the log BEHIND the pussycat. And when the pussycat emerged and realized he had stepped out into thin air and was about to fall, the mouse stuck out his head and addressed the pussycat thusly:  "SSSSSUCKEEERRRR!" 

After which the pussycat looked at the audience, realized he had been had, and fell

Got the image? Good. That is how the Democrat Party views all you "never Trumpers" and others who were deceived into delivering enough votes for Biden to cover the cheating and fraud that enabled Biden's obtainment of a 270 vote Electoral College majority. 

There's more to come - believe us - but just as one example, remember how President Trump endorsed hydroxychloroquine as a miracle treatment for the Kung Flu?  And remember how this was denounced as Trump endorsing poison?  Well, guess what, idiots?

The AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION today WITHDREW its formal objection to the use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for extreme symptoms of COVID 19 and endorsed its use.  How many people could have survived that were unable to get HCQ?  And this is just the tip of the iceberg that's coming your way.  Oh, ye 

SSSUCKKKEEERRRSSS!

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE 2020 UNITED STATES ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Tomorrow, December 14 2020 you will meet and take an historic vote. As things stand a majority of you are "pledged" to cast your votes for Joseph Robinette Biden as the man who will succeed Donald John Trump as President of the United States.  

However, none of you has been living sequestered all this time.  Surely you can see how flawed this election has been and with what odor of corruption, deciet and mistake it has been conducted.  

And surely you have been able to see how massively flawed a candidate Biden is and remains, with ties to his own son's criminal dealings and - worse - ties to Communist China that are sketchy to say the least.   

So, tomorrow when you vote, ABSTAIN from voting, denying Biden a victory AND not handing an electoral victory to President Trump, either; but throwing this election into the House of Representatives where it can be straightened out in the open and above board. 

It's your American duty.

 

COVID-19: THE WORLD'S FIRST POLITICAL PLAGUE (OUTSIDE OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY).

GENTLE READERS, we have said on Facebook and other venues ad infinitum that COVID-19 (or as we call it, the Kung Flu) has been and is being used as a political tool. Now the proof is as glaring as the sun in one's eyes, and there is no denying it. 

We have since mid-March been subjected to popular recreational venues being close and/or having their hours and access curtailed.  Entire industries have been shut down and scads of workers laid off all in the name of - first it was "flattening the curve" so that emergency rooms would not be overwhelmed, and this was expanded to "stopping the spread" of the virus, which was and is a fool's errand.  

We have been required - sometimes under penalty of law - to make ourselves into faceless ciphers wearing these damned masks and breathing our own hot breath into our own faces in the middle of summer. Having a few friends over for a little poker game has been decried as inviting mass infection by a "deadly" bug.  Governors and mayors have in many cases overstepped their bounds, trying to justify this as a "reasonable" response to a global emergency.  Restauranteurs and recreational venues are teetering on the brink due to the orders issued by those who claim they are trying to save us from a virus by making sure we starve, get evicted, and go batshit crazy from being shut up with as little human contact as possible. All this to stop a virus that does not produce symptoms in the vast majority of those who contract it.  

There are however those - chiefly the aged and/or very infirm - for whom this virus is major, life threatening trouble. And since it is alleged that even infected people with no symptoms can still spread it, EVERYBODY has to mask up and give up their social lives. The politicians say this and then turn around and do boneheaded things like FORCE nursing homes to admit seniors who are sickened by the virus.  This is like trying to put out a campfire with kindling. 

Now this may be coincidence or it may be deliberate (and it's probably some of both), but one effect this virus and the - by our lights irrational and unrealistic - response to it has been the toppling of the swinging - dicks - and - big - tits economy that President Trump had  wrought by his policies.  This malaise was seized on by Democrats at all levels and used to help bring President Trump down (Or try to. From all appearances a heaping dose of election fraud - of which "Mail-in voting" was a big part - is being uncovered and the election is being hotly contested as we write this). 

And so for lo these many months, these endless weeks, these boring days of no fun with friends and restrictions on everyday activities; of not being able to et anything done at the DMV without making an appointment months in advance and all the rest of this pain in the ass inconvenience we have waited as we have been told that a vaccine was our only hope for a return to normalcy. President Trump announced at the outset he was authorizing a program to fast-track a vaccine.  

Now we have said from the beginning that all this would end with the end of the 2020 election, and sure enough it was announced that the Holy Grail of a COVID vaccine had been developed.  WE KNEW IT! AT LAST! HALLELUJAH! 

Not so goddamn fast. 

See, the election isn't over yet.  And since the Dems think they will finally drag Joe Biden's living corpse over the finish line, they want to make the end of the Kung Flu to happen on HIS watch, not President Trump's.  So they have started bitching and trying to stall the beginning of distribution of the vaccine.  

So either President Trump successfully challenges the crooked as a snake farm election OR the vaccine will have to wait - and the wretched masks and the idiotic "Social Distancing" will be with us until January 20th 2021. 

If you don't think this "COVID Emergency" is in large part a bunch of politically motivated crap, you are fucking BLIND.    

"OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT-ELECT" MY ASS

Remember the 2000 Presidential election and how it was contested with the Florida recount?  Remember how Bush made a speech on TV with four American flags as a backdrop?  And then Gore made a TV speech with eight of them? And then Bush used 16 so Gore came on with about 40 until it started to get to looking ridiculous?

Enter Joseph Robinette Biden, whom the Media has seen fit to annoint the "President Elect" even though he is nothing - officially speaking - of the sort.  Biden has seen fit to create his own "Office of the President Elect", and has been issuing Imperial Majesty proclamations as to what he will do once he is coronated.  

Maybe Biden will soon be recognized as the President Elect. But right now the vote is being VIGOROUSLY  challenged and he is NOTHING OF THE LIKE.  There are many and varied reasonable charges of suspicious circumstances surrounding such a huge vote for an aging subject of a federal corruption investigation and a bumbling fool to boot who hardly campaigned at all and whose events drew more Trump supporters to jeer at him than faithful supporters of his campaign.  

President Trump for his part has vowed to pursue the investigation as far as possible and insofar as he can make sure that ALL the votes were LEGALLY cast. And he has said that if the vote turns out to be legit he will concede and begin the peaceful transition of power that has been the hallmark of our election process from the beginning. 

"The Office of the President Elect" is NOT a legitimate Government entity. It is a figment of Biden's imagination and nothing he says behind his make-believe podium has the force of law, it's just a lot of hot air. 

The only reason Biden ever had a snowball's chance in Hell of getting even this far was that the Kung Flu wrecked the economy and even President Trump had one hell of a time bringing things back as well as he has. He has no business referring to himself as the "President Elect".  That status has yet to be determined by the electoral process, which is STILL not concluded.

Yes, Gentle Readers; reports of the demise of the Alexandria Daily Poop have been greatly exaggerated.  We suspended publishing this blog and re-directed readers to the Facebook page of owner and Editor in Chief F. Allen Norman, Jr.

However, the recent election which is alleged to have resulted in the appalling Joseph Robinette Biden and the equally cringe-worthy Kamala "Kamel-Toe" Harris to the top Executive offices in the Republic (despite the fact that massive electoral mistake and fraud is being investigated as we write this) compels us to re-activate these pages, where the censors of Facebook cannot touch us.

Well may they wish they could. We intend to rip Biden and the Dems from the hips to the lips (satirically speaking in case you are an idiot) beginning with the next post.  If you thought we were tough on Obama, just wait.  This ought to be good.   

WE ARE TEMPORARILY RELOCATING

We are very much aware that many of the readers of this E-rag wonder where we have gone to. The answer is that we must make a living and we don't get paid for putting this out.  However, I have made a small cabal of mostly conservative friends - mostly people I went to high school with - and engage in spirited political discussions with them. (as is my usual wont, If I get some difficult ASP or antifa member I tell them to shaddap and ban them. Limbaugh, Plante, and Levin get paid to deal wiuth these goofballs. I no gotta da time).

NATIONAL POLICE WEEK 2019

We almost missed our annual post honoring National Police Week this year, and we apologize. We have been rather busy with a few personal crises, and have had little time to sit and write extensively. 

Our police in recent years have been reviled extensively and falsely accused of all sorts of things. Some of these things, such as the officer in Ferguson Mississippi having to kill to defend himself against a hoodlum attempting to take his firearm, have resulted in riots and the end of the cop's career and his or her having to go into hiding amidst threats. 

We will grant that there have been instances where a police officer haas shot and/or killed a person for no justifiable reason. But these incidents have been few and far between and have always resulted in the disgraceful end of the errant cop's career and/or his or her conviction in criminal court. 

Much more common is the death of a police officer at the hands of some malefactor who just does not like the police; mainly because they make things inconvenient for sociopaths like him or her self. Between this and the possibility of being unjustly  accused of unlawful use of force the career field of Police Officer has become a minefield which fewer and fewer young folks are willing to enter on. 

This year as always still more names will be added to the wall at the National Police Memorial here in Washington, D.C.. Just recently the name of a young lady who was killed her very first day on the job was added. Among the throngs attending this week's ceremonies will be the widowed spouses and the children who lost a parent in the valiant battle against crime that all police officers engage in every day. When you spot a police officer, salute and thank him or her for their service. It does brighten their day. To all members of the Law Enforcement Community who read this: Thank you for your service and may you enjoy a blessed Police Week.

YOU GOTTA TRY THIS ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA RESTAURANT

Gentle readers, when we need some good food and drink in a neighborhood style bistro, we often head for a place called "La Fromagerie" in Old Town Alexandria. 

Owned and operated by French chef Sebastian Tavel, La Fromagerie is described as an "Artisan Wine and Cheese Bistro". It is that and more. Soups, salads, sandwiches, small plates and main courses are available at very reasonable prices. Dishes range from a plate of baguette and olive oil for four bucks to a ribeye steak for two at $55.00. A hugely popular attraction are the generously administered cheese and charcuterie boards: Three items for $18 up to ten for $55, with additional items $6.00 each. 

Accompany your selection with a glass of wine from La Fromagerie's well stocked cellar. Sommelier Ben Kuna administers the wine stocks and is a very knowledgeable wine man. Wines run by the glass from $12 to $22. A new twist in the wine department is a monthly feature showcasing the winemaking regions of France and promoting the wines made in these regions. This month the featured region is the Loire Valley.

Everything at La Fromagerie is made fresh from scratch by Chef Tavel. We have never in ten years seen the chef open a can of anything. Chef Tavel even makes his own sauerkraut when he is featuring a dish such as choucrout garnie. Everything, even the mustard that accompanies some of the dishes is made in-house by Chef Tavel, with -we believe - the exception of the baguettes.

Wednesday through Friday the restaurant holds "Happy Hour", when beer or house wine is available for $5.00 as are all the small plates. Fifteen bucks will get you (for example) a glass of house red or white (or a beer); a small plate of lentil dip and a plate of escargot (yes, what kind of French place doesn't serve escargot?)

Another recently instituted bargain is the $20 "Lunch crush" special: Twenty semoleons buys you a snack (small plate) OR a sandwich AND either a soup OR a salad PLUS a glass of house wine (or beer if you prefer).

The staff are friendly and helpful and guests more often than not are able to have a few words with Chef Tavel himself. If you are chary about French cuisine because you think it expensive and served up by snotty stuck-up servers, visit La Fromagerie. Oh and one more thing: If you have kids with you, order one of La Fromagerie's soda drinks. These are - as with everything else - hand made in house and are delicious and refreshing. 

La Fromagerie is modeled on the neighborhood bistros the chef grew up around in France. The vibe is light and friendly, and the staff pleasant and helpful. And the food and drink are first class and very reasonably priced. As far as is possible Chef Tavel uses locally sourced ingredients (the farmers and producers are listed in most cases on the menu). For a unique dining experience that won't bankrupt you and will leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit, visit La Fromagerie.

MUELLER DELIVERS NOTHINGBURGER, DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP GOES COMPLETELY INSANE

We cannot make a post about every lunatic thing going down in the USA these days because that is about a 45 post a day proposition and we need to work to survive. However, yesterday Special Counsel Mueller FINALLY delivered his report to the Department of Justice. As it turns out there was NO collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. NONE. 

Nevertheless, the Democrats are trumpeting something about "35 indictments" of "Trump campaign officials" which indictments had little if anything to do with the Trump campaign. Having delivered so little of anything advantageous to the Democrats who are trying to destroy the President, Mueller is now no longer Saint Mueller the Saviour of the Democrats but is now a no-good son of a bitch who must be subpoenaed and questioned as if he were a co-conspirator in Trump's (non-existent) crimes. 

Now we are watching to see if Mueller will turn on the Democrats and expose the illegal wiretapping of the Trump campaign by the Obama Administration and a slew of other crimes committed by the leadership of the Democrat Party. The Democrats are playing with fire in a gasoline refinery, and the explosion potential is spectacular. Stay tuned. We sure will.

IT'S STARTING TO MAKE SENSE NOW

We haven't done a posting here for a while, people; and we are sorry however there has been a lot to sort out what with the Democrat takeover of the House of Representatives and all that entails. 

Remember the dark days after the passage of Obamacare? Remember when We the People gave the House back to the Republicans hoping that they, newly back in control of the nation's purse strings, would DO SOMETHING DAMMIT to pinch off this cancer before it got started? And instead what did we get? 

A mealy-mouthed excuse from the GOP leadership that "We only control one half of one third of the government". So then we gave them the Senate, only to be faced with more lame excuses, while meanwhile the Democrats acted as if there hadn't even been an election. 

(This has always been the way in Washington. There's a saying that when Democrats win, they're in power. When Republicans win, they're in office.)

Thus did the Democrats scheme and prepare to resume power after the 2016 elections. Then a colossus bestrode American politics, and his name was and is Donald John Trump. And even before winning the election and entering the White House he began exerting power. The Left ran screaming before him and immediately began preparing to gain a beachhead in the recent mid-terms, in which they won the House but failed to capture the Senate. 

But the House they now have. And notice they are NOT bitching about only having "one half of one third" of the government. No, they are actively using every trick in the book to gain advantage anywhere and any way they can. 

BUT as usual (and even more so) they are overplaying their hand. Particularly the newer and more radical young members (such as idiot Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and those idiot Moslems who letting them into Congress is like voting for refugee National Socialists during WWII) are going nuts, with the likes of Maxine "I's Crayzee" Waters cheering them on. 

Now that we understand the situation, gentle readers, we will probably be able to post more often. Here at the Alexandria Daily Poop, we wait until we know what we are talking about before we open our yap.

GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN MY ASS

This morning on the news we were greeted with headlines about the "government shut down" "entering its second day". We wonder: is this the headline they use every weekend? The government shuts down for at least two days every week! 

These "government shutdowns" do practically nothing but give thousands of government workers an unannounced vacation with pay. Yet every time a Republican refuses to bend to Democrat will to the point of not authorizing a budget, the Democrats seek to get everybody all stirred up about nothing. And since the Republican we are discussing here is Donald John Trump, the efforts to magnify the possible consequences run to ridiculous lengths.

The buzz words Democrats are using right now are that President Trump is having a "temper tantrum"; but the only ones we see stamping their feet and protesting are the Dems. They are in a snit because since Trump has been instrumental in changing criminal sentencing guidelines that disproportionately keep black people in prison longer thst needed and indeed has been shown to have benefitted blacks and other minorities in solid ways that the Democrats have not (despite rosy promises abandoned once the victory has been achieved at the polls). Black folks are stunned at how this man - painted as a "racist" by the Democrat propaganda machine - has sought to inprove their lot in solid ways and not just with words but with actions. Those knee-jerk black Democrat votes are showing signs of drying up.  So now they are trying to play the illegal alien card: the one where they use illegals to stand in for dead people at the polls. 

Ever since President Trump was elected the Democrats have been hearing the Gotterdammerung sounding ever louder and have gotten ever more panicked. However, we remember - and you can look it up in the annals of this blog - how at several points we feared Trump was deliberately trying to lose the election and hand the Presidency over to Hillary Clinton. As it turned out, he knew what he was doing then, and he knows what he is doing now. And he will win this one, too. 

Hail Trump.

THE TWIN PILLARS HOLDING UP THE HYPOCRISY AND DOUBLE,STANDARDS OF THE LEFT

Ever wonder how so many lefties can assert two three four or more things that wildly contradict each other and assure the listener with straight-faced confidence that every word he or she has asserted is true? Do they really believe this crap? 

In most cases, yes. This is because they have in many cases been trained by people like the ridiculously named 'bell hooks" (yes, just like that with no caps) to believe in two things that dxon't exist in reality. These two things are "white privilege" and "intersectionality".

Oddly enough when you ask what "white privelege" is you are likely to get a reply of "Well, what do you think it is?" and then when youj've supplied your own answer the questioner says "Exactly!" and starts on a diatribe. 

As to "Intersectionality", well, this posits that all "oppression" and oppressed groups and people "intersect" sorta like follows: It's okay to give Jews shit because they bought black folks from Moslems and sold them to white folks. but Moslems can't be touched because they are against the oppressing Jews; and white folks are fair game since especially white men sit on every other group; and especially women and children are to  be believed when they bring especially sexual accusations against especially white males (but against Moslems and Democrats not so much. And blah blah blah it's all such a load of shit; but they have some kids and young adults buying it and thinking it's sandwich spread instead of horse shit. Juggle the balls in the appropriate manner and you can justify almost every nubar leftist belief as a "quest for justice" or some such crapola. To understand "intersectionality" go stand in the middle of an intersection. It's bad luck to stand in a crossroads, sweeties. You'll get run over.
